Schakel, a standout from San Diego State University where he tallied 1,034 points over his career and finished as the program's leader in free throw percentage (87%). Since entering the NBA, Schakel has spent time with a number of teams in the league and is currently with the Santa Cruz Warriors preparing for the NBA Summer League in July.

After Bill Russel's passing on July 31, 2022 the NBA announced a number of ways the league would honor the all time legend, which included every player in the league wearing a number "6" commemorative patch on the right shoulder of their jerseys for the 2022-23 season.

Anyone that has bid prior to 8:00 PM EST will be able to bid during the 30-minute rule. Each lot will have a 30 minute clock that counts down to 0. If there is at least one bid in a 30-minute interval on a specific lot, that lot will extend another 30 minute interval.
