Noland was a member of the Razorbacks for 4 years before being drafted to the Chicago Cubs in the 2022 MLB Draft (Round 9, Pick #263).

During his time at the University of Arkansas, Noland became the ace of the staff, starting 41 games on the mound for his college career. During that time, he posted a 3.85 ERA, 202 strikeouts and 14 wins.

As a senior, Noland earned a place on the College World Series All-Tournament team
